Project Description
2300 16th Street is 100 condos and roughly 6,800 sf of office/conference space with two levels of parking. This project is located in the Meridian Hill Historic District with immediate adjacency to Meridian Hill Park and two John Russell Pope houses on the National Registry. The approved project is part of a shared campus plan with the two houses. The special location of this project required a particular design language to meet the expectation of the community, Office of Historic Preservation, and special interest groups to meet the neighborhood design guidelines. Through multiple design iterations, we have received full approval and are awaiting a final zoning order to proceed with the project.
Project Role
As the Project Director, I have grown with this project from conceptual design through multiple schematic design iterations. I have become the Client’s main point of contact for all aspects of the project.
