Project Description
The Residential and Senior Living practice areas have seen increased convergence on recent projects. This project is the most recent iteration of this convergence. “Aging in place” and moving closer to services will be key aspects of this project for new residents. The age-qualified Independent Living will be where active seniors move to be closer to the services they want. Assisted-Living units will provide a place for residents to transition in life as they require closer care and attention.
Both buildings were developed through schematic design for submission to the City. The project will be built in two phases. The AL Building is currently in Design Development.
Project Role
As the Project Architect & Designer, I was lead the design team through building massing development, elevation studies, and material investigation. I have also been leading client meetings, community presentations, and organizing entitlement documents.
